Revo Fitness started in Shenton Park and has grown into a major national brand, aiming for 100 locations by 2027. We’re proud at FITFAM to have worked with the team and watched a Perth-born fitness brand scale with consistent branding and content.

There’s something special about watching a local idea turn into a national movement. If you’ve grown up around Perth’s fitness scene, you’ve probably seen it happen. Great training spaces built by locals, for locals, then suddenly those same brands are popping up across the country.

One of the biggest examples of that right now is Revo Fitness.

From Shenton Park to Australia-wide growth

Revo’s story started right here in WA with one small gym in Shenton Park back in 2012, built with a simple mission: make quality fitness more affordable and more accessible. That straightforward approach is still at the heart of the brand today.

A WA-owned brand hitting big milestones

Revo has set ambitious growth targets, aiming for  100 locations by 2027. That’s not just expansion. That’s a locally born fitness brand becoming a major national player.

The national roll-out is real

The growth isn’t only on paper. Revo’s expansion has included major moves like acquiring eight Crunch Fitness locations in Victoria, with plans to rebrand and refurbish them as part of their push toward 100 sites. They’re also rolling into new markets and scaling up in existing ones across WA, SA, NSW, and VIC.

Why this matters to us at FITFAM

At FITFAM, we’re all about community-first fitness, and brands that genuinely show up for people and build something that lasts. So getting to work with Revo and watch them grow has been genuinely rewarding. One thing Revo has done exceptionally well as they’ve expanded is brand and content consistency. No matter the location, the experience feels recognisably Revo. The look, tone, and messaging stay clear and familiar, which builds trust fast when you’re opening doors in new suburbs and new states.

That’s something we care deeply about at FITFAM too. Growth is exciting, but it only works long term when the brand stays cohesive and the content stays aligned. Watching Revo scale while keeping that consistency has been a big part of why their roll-out has felt so strong. There’s a shared mindset in what we do: keeping fitness welcoming, accessible, and part of everyday life. And we love seeing a Perth-born brand remind the rest of Australia that some of the best ideas in fitness start right here in WA.

The takeaway

Revo didn’t become a household name by trying to be everything to everyone. They built a clear offering, stuck to it, and scaled it while keeping the experience consistent.

From one Shenton Park gym in 2012 to a network chasing 100 locations nationwide, this is one of those local success stories that makes the entire industry feel exciting.

We’re proud to have played a small part in that journey, and even prouder to watch what’s next.
